Name: Peregrin Took
Length: 5 meters
Make: Holman & Pye
Year: 1985
Keel Type: Shoal
Peregrin Took is a beamy trailer-sailor with a deceptively spacious cabin for her size. She is ideal for both inland waters and for exploring coastal estuaries and rivers. Her shallow draft would enable her to also make a comfortable motor day boat/overnighter with the addition of a modest outboard.
Included in the sale:
Galvanised road trailer - Boat rollers and bunks recently replaced and trailer in good condition. The trailer also comes with a new winch and coupling but will need work to the brakes, although this was previously delivered with a faulty coupling without any brakes by a small Kia estate car.
Mast & Sails
The boat is currently part way through a refit of the interior. The chips and deep scratches to the interior have been filled and sanded and resprayed with primer. New headlining has been purchased along with a set of steps for the cockpit. The majority of the anti foul has been stripped from the outside and sanded, but this will need final preparation before painting.
The main picture was taken prior to starting the refit and all the railings/fittings have been removed for painting and will be included with the boat. In addition to the above the boards to cover the storage holes in the boat and plywood boards to go around the windows and the window frames are also included.
Unfortunately reluctantly selling due to not having the time to complete the boat.
